We will talk about ocean pollution and conservation. We will have a beach cleanup every day. We will also discuss the tides and talk about the importance of water safety along.  Don't forget about  building sand castles and !  

We will identify the many bird species found in San Diego. We will take a closer look at their habitats,  bird communication, and will foster a lifelong appreciation for birds and the environment.

We will also learn about insects,  including identification, exploring insect behavior and building our own insects with natural materials. We will also talk about an insects' important role in ecosystems.

We will be using boogie boards, kayaks and paddle boards to explore all of the different parts of the Lagoon!  We will also cover water safety.

We will use natural materials to build materials including fishing poles,  small shelter building, weaving and painting using flower petals. 

We will investigate all of the beautiful sea life!  We will discuss how to enjoy tide pools while taking care of the sea life and talk about the importance of our beautiful ocean!
